Your Students Are Growing Up Online.
Is Your School Ready to Meet Them There?
Introducing The Screen Guardians K–12 Program — a turnkey, teacher-delivered digital wellness program that gives students the knowledge, schools the tools, and families the language to build healthier relationships with technology. Together.
Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
Your phone policy isn’t working — and everyone knows it.
You’ve tried banning devices. Sent home newsletters. Updated the handbook. And kids are still struggling — with digital anxiety, compulsive phone use, and behaviors that spill right into the classroom. Rules alone aren’t enough. Your students need to understand why.
Your teachers are already stretched thin.
Asking educators to also be digital safety experts isn’t realistic. They need a program that’s ready to go — not another curriculum to develop from scratch on top of everything else.
Parents and school are sending mixed messages.
Without a shared framework, kids are caught in the middle. School says one thing. Home says another. And students learn to navigate the gaps — not the values.
You’re reacting — when you want to be preventing.
Cyberbullying. Screen addiction. Social media anxiety. Online predators. You’re putting out fires every week. But there’s no fire prevention program in place. Not yet.
You’re not alone in this. And you don’t have to figure it out alone, either.
Why We Built This Program
I always thought I had a pretty good handle on the digital world my kids lived in. I research this stuff. I write articles on this stuff. I talk about digital health constantly.
But nothing gives you a reality check faster than actually sitting down and observing a middle-school group chat.
I saw a version of my own kid I didn’t recognize. And I realized: even parents who know the research get blindsided. Even teachers who care deeply feel powerless. Even schools with solid policies are still playing catch-up.
That’s when I understood that this couldn’t just be a parent problem, or a school problem. It had to be a shared responsibility.
So I built a program that actually connects those two worlds.

This program is grounded in research, built by experts, and designed to be delivered by the people students already trust — their teachers.

Education is the greatest form of protection. But only when school and home are speaking the same language.
This Isn’t Another Assembly. Or an App. Or a One-Time Workshop.
Most schools address digital wellness the same way: a one-hour session from an outside speaker, a handout sent home, a policy update in the handbook. And then… nothing.
The Screen Guardians K–12 Program is different. It’s a structured, weekly program that becomes part of the school year — not a box to check.
Here’s what makes it work:
This Program Was Built for Schools Like Yours
The Screen Guardians K–12 Program is the right fit if…
You’re a principal or school administrator who wants a proactive, evidence-backed approach to digital wellness — not just another reactive policy.

UNIT 03: Digital Relationships & Online Behavior
Building healthy, ethical habits in the spaces where kids actually connect with each other.
- What kindness, respect, and consent look like in group chats and social media
- Understanding cyberbullying: what it is, how to respond, and how not to participate
- The legal and social consequences of digital behavior
UNIT 04: Healthy Habits & Screen Balance
Moving from awareness to action — helping students build real tools for managing their tech use.
- Creating personal screen-use habits that support sleep, focus, and well-being
- Recognizing signs of digital stress and digital overload
- Practical strategies for intentional offline time — without punishment or shame
UNIT 05: Family & Community Connection
Closing the loop between what students learn in school and the conversations happening at home.
- Helping students bring what they’ve learned back to their families
- Creating shared language and expectations between school, home, and community

Our Partnership Promise
We believe that bringing a new program into a school requires trust. And trust is earned — not assumed.
That’s why we don’t just hand you materials and walk away. We are with you through onboarding, implementation, and beyond.
Here’s what we promise:
We will not leave you to figure it out alone. Ongoing implementation support is part of the program.
We will be honest with you if this isn’t the right fit. Our goal is a program that actually works for your community.
We will listen. If something isn’t working, we want to know. This is a collaboration, not a transaction.
We will keep the approach grounded in education — not fear, not alarm, not shame.
Meet the Founder
I’m not a tech expert who watches kids from the outside. I’m a mother who has lived this.
I’ve sat with parents in living rooms and auditoriums who feel completely overwhelmed by what their kids are navigating online. I’ve testified before state legislators about the real impact of screen exposure on developing brains. I’ve written articles, spoken at schools, and spent years asking the same question: why isn’t there a program that actually connects school and home around this issue?
So I built one.
The Screen Guardians K–12 Program is the result of years of research, collaboration with experts across healthcare, mental health, cybersecurity, and law enforcement — and the deeply personal conviction that kids deserve adults who are informed, connected, and working together.
You don’t need to be a tech expert to protect your students. You just need the right tools, the right language, and a community of people walking this road with you.

What Educators & Parents Are Saying
Real voices. Real schools. Real results.
Sparked some great conversations in class...
The students are settling into the lesson plans well, and we’re already seeing them engage more thoughtfully with the content. They’re beginning to understand not just the “what” but the “why” behind each lesson, which has sparked some great conversations in class.
The curriculum has been incredibly easy to implement...
From a teaching standpoint, the curriculum has been incredibly easy to implement. The slides, videos, and ready-to-use resources make each lesson smooth and consistent, and they’ve taken a lot of prep work off our plate.
No pushback from parents...
Things are going well. No pushback from parents. Some of the parents were thrilled we were taking it to the classroom and expressed it.
The lessons were well planned out...
Each of the teachers expressed that the lessons were well planned out, thoughtful, and encouraged participation. The kids were engaged and enjoyed participating. The older students (7th/8th) found the material very interesting. The junior high teacher was ecstatic about the content of the program.
Common Questions
How much time does this require from teachers?
Each session is 30–40 minutes, once per week during the school day. Lesson plans are fully prepared — teachers do not need to research, write, or design anything from scratch. If your teachers are already stretched thin, this program was specifically designed with them in mind.
Do teachers need any special training or background in digital wellness?
No. That’s one of the core design principles of this program. Teachers are the trusted adults students already know — they don’t need to be tech experts. The program provides everything they need to lead these conversations confidently.
Is this program appropriate for all K–12 grade levels?
Yes. The program is developmentally sequenced by grade band, so content is age-appropriate throughout. What a kindergartener learns looks fundamentally different from what a high schooler explores — but the foundational principles of digital health connect across every level.
What does the parent component actually look like? Is it a lot of additional work for families?
The Parent Companion is a simple, practical (online course) guide that is used alongside what students are learning in the classroom. It’s intentionally designed to be a tool — not homework. Families who want to go deeper also have access to The Parent Portal, but that’s optional and available on their own time. (Free while the student in part of the program)
Can this work for an entire district, or just individual schools?
Both. The Screen Guardians works for individual schools, multi-site campuses, and full districts. Pricing and implementation are customized based on your context. If you’re thinking about consistency across multiple buildings, this program is built for exactly that.
What does the onboarding and support process look like?
You won’t receive materials and disappear into the unknown. We walk alongside your team through the full onboarding process, provide implementation support, and are available throughout the school year. This is a partnership — not a transaction.
How do we get started?
Schedule a free discovery call below. It’s 30 minutes, no pressure, and designed to help you figure out whether this is the right fit for your school. We’ll answer every question and walk you through what implementation looks like step by step.
We already have a digital citizenship or internet safety program. How is this different?
Most existing programs are one-time events, online modules, or narrow in scope. The Screen Guardians is a semester-long, weekly curriculum that covers brain science, mental health, online safety, and family alignment — all under one connected framework. It’s built to go deeper and create lasting change, not just check a compliance box.
Your Students Need This.
Your Teachers Deserve This.
